Elegant, simple, beautiful.  These three words describe Lauren and John’s wedding very well.  The Lodge at Welch Allyn looks absolutely phenomenal and was gorgeous both during the day for the wedding ceremony and after dark during the reception.  The rich wood beams, high ceilings and huge windows gave us beautiful light to work with.  Paula and her staff do an outstanding job.

Lauren and John opted out of the new wedding “tradition” of “finding a lot of unique things” and instead held a traditional, more formal ceremony.  Their beautiful Jewish wedding was a pleasure to photograph and we enjoyed our day with them very much.

As wedding vendors we have a tendency to see the same people over and over again so it was a special treat to meet a new band – the Joe Whiting Band.  Joe and the band were fantastic people and we luckily found out we would see them the following week as well!  So yay for new friends too!
