Jen and Dwayne got married! We love this couple and we are so happy for them. They had a lovely, small ceremony at The Sherwood Inn in Skaneatles with Kathy Dell JP officiating. Everybody there was very warm and inviting. Jen and Dwayne have great friends and family, they are surrounded by wonderful people who love them very much. Thewhole day just seemed to go too fast. Becky and David are an interesting couple. They categorize themselves as “simple” and “ordinary” but their day was anything but! Becky had dreams of a fairytale wedding and David was determined that she was going to have it. Every choice was painstakingly made down to the last, smallest detail. Becky orchestrated everything to perfection. She started the day in a light-filled family home, had a glorious Catholic church wedding and ended the fairytale at Belhurst Castle with her Prince Charming, dancing the night away.

Krissy and Jamie originally wanted us to shoot their wedding in Hawaii! We REALLY wanted to, but we were already booked for their date with Heather and Doug. (Yes, we would travel that far for a wedding. We go anywhere) So, they headed off to paradise without us and decided to have us shoot their wedding reception when they got back to Syracuse.

Laura and Sean had a beautiful wedding at Six Mile Creek Vineyard in Ithaca. It was a gorgeous day. Actually, it started out a little iffy. Matt and I were driving to the wedding in the rain, wondering what was going to happen since it was an outdoor wedding. There was going to be a tent set up, but it is October and this is New York, so it could have been rainy and cold and miserable. But, the rain cleared up, mostly, and left us with amazing, rich colors as a backdrop and when the sun came out a little later, the light was fantastic!

Heather is one of the most enthusiastic people in the world. She came to the bridal show and practically jumped over our table to claim us. She was extremely excited to see us in person after stalking our website. Let me tell you, enthusiasm will win you many brownie points with Picture Infinity. If we were to suddenly win the lottery and begin a life of leisure I think we would come out of retirement to shoot the wedding of anyone showing this kind of excitement and love of life.

If Amy and Ryan had any more style, they’d be in magazines. They had the amazing, beautiful, stylish upscale wedding every girl dreams about and they had it right here in Central New York. All their vendors were top notch, the weather was perfect and everything was just smooth from start to finish. It wasn’t the least bit “stuffy” either. They set up a s’mores table at the reception for guests to make their own gooey, chocolate marshmallowy treats. You think a chocolate fountain is messy? Try making s’mores! But still, everything was classy and elegant, stylish and fun.

Kelly and Dana’s wedding reminds me of the old song “Rainy Day People”. The day started out hot and sunny but the clouds rolled in and it decided to break out in a torrential downpour just in time for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Wysocki’s. All the guests ran under the gazebo or the porch. It certainly made it a memorable and very personal ceremony with everybody right there, participating the whole time. It was kind of fun, spontaneous and I don’t think the day was lessened in any way. As soon as the vows were over, the rain passed on its way.

Michelle and Josh are very private people and they asked me not to show photos of them so I will try to show you what this amazingly cool wedding was like while still keeping them private. That can be a little tricky. But this was one of those unique weddings that make our job so exciting. It’s fun to go to new places and do new things.

Picture Infinity Studios does not normally shoot weddings solo. Occasionally we are asked to come up with a wedding package that fits someone’s budget a little better. Sarah was thus already booked when Jamie asked us to do photograph her wedding. Venturing out alone was different but fun in its own way.

OH my goodness! What a crazy, wonderful, perfect, fun, amazing day! Danae and Jeff are those kind of people who attract tons of great friends and have amazing families. Everyone was there to have a good time. There was nobody just sitting around waiting it out. It was what every wedding should really be: a complete celebration.
