Ch. 13 – Flower Inspiration
This was one area that I had no clue about! Soon after we got engaged, I started looking for ideas with flowers.
Ch. 12 – Be Our Guest
The whole process of sending out the STD’s led to a larger problem. Who gets an invitation? Do we just invite family? Kids or no kids? If no kids, what age is cut off? Co-workers? Which friends? Deciding on whom to invite caused more stress than I thought!
Ch. 11 – We Just Can’t Wait!!! – Please Save the Date!
When I last left you, we were putting our finishing touches on our Save the Dates. We decided on a style and with the help of an art teacher/friend, PhotoShop and Illustrator, our STD’s had finally come to life!
Ch. 10 – What STD Do I Want?
I couldn’t wait to get our engagement pictures back because my next DIY project was our save the dates! Our plan was to send them out with our Christmas cards—save two birds with one stone!
Ch. 9 – Engagement photos!
This engagement session will show you a) who Erika & Justin are as well as their story and b) what kind of amazing photographers Mabyn & Tim are. The rest of this chapter, I’ll let Erika say.
Ch. 8 – Music to My Ears
An important aspect of the wedding for us was music. I did not want our wedding to consist of people sitting and staring at each other; bored out of their mind. I want people to walk away and say “wow, that was a fun wedding!”
Ch. 7 – The Dress Journey
With the help of my Matron of Honor, we tried spaghetti straps, halter, one strap, and even a knee length gown! For future dress shopping brides, I would highly suggest this!
Ch. 6- Will You Be My Bridesmaid?
I decided I wanted to make something special to ask the girls to be my bridesmaids. I had one idea all set and went to put everything together and just wasn’t feeling it so I went back to Michael’s and scoured the aisles until something hit me.
Ch. 5 – DIY = Doing it yourself
DIY weddings, doing it yourself. Instead of buying EVERYTHING we have decided to tackle a few projects and make them ourselves.
Ch. 4 – Decisions, Decisions – Minus One!
I have never been good at making decisions; I’m quite an indecisive person, and never realized how many decisions I would have to make to plan a wedding!
